There are so many resources on the Internet that some times the search becomes overwelming, and also there are resources and excelent resources so you have to be shrewd when you are looking for information, here some recomendations for great books and other resources. I'm not saying that I'm really shrewd, indeed I have taken this recomendations from really experienced people. And of course I want the best for you!

I have been working with this architectural pattern called MVC since... many years, I think is a great invention to develop websites and make everything more understandable let's say.

I think you will like this pattern (I really think is cool), just take a look at it, is understandable and everything is on its own place organized, no spaghetti code (if it's done the right way of course).
